Module Brief:

Authorship and who has the power to fix meaning in communication is one of the most contested areas within Graphic Design.

Add to this the impact of digital technology and it's interactive implications and you have a dynamic and contemporary field of study. In this module you will explore both the theory and practice that make up this subject area.

Expected outcomes:

- Write a short academic essay on the subject. (2000 words)

- Produce a piece of design work exploring the same ideas.
